Redknee Signs Multi-Million Dollar Contract with Omantel

TORONTO – December 9, 2014 Redknee Solutions Inc. (TSX: RKN), a leading provider of real-time monetization and subscriber management software, is pleased to announce that Omantel, a leading operator in the Middle East and a provider of multi-play services, has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract to upgrade to the latest version of Redknee’s converged charging platform, Redknee Unified, in support of Omantel’s 4G/LTE network. The highly scalable and flexible solution provides Omantel with innovative real-time charging and billing capabilities to monetize and launch new data services, and the agility to cross-sell and upsell across its multi-play services to advance the experience of its 4G/LTE subscribers. This is a significant deal that further demonstrates the confidence leading communications service providers (CSPs) have in Redknee’s ability to support their business goals and growth strategies.

With competition intensifying in the region and customer demand for innovative data services increasing, Omantel will utilize Redknee’s real-time monetization solution to increase customer satisfaction and maintain its market-leading position. The Redknee Unified platform provides Omantel with the ability to converge billing, charging and customer care for all of its services, including voice, messaging, data, mobile and fixed lines, to gain simplicity and transparency to charge and bill for any transaction regardless of the payment method.
